This unusually shaped pendant takes its inspiration from Orcrist, the sword of Thorin Oakenshield, in The Hobbit. A lovely larimar stone forms the blade, with both Argentium sterling silver and 14k gold-fill wire wrapping representing the hilt and decoration of the sword. Approximately 2.25 inches long and 5/8 inch at its widest.
Found only in the Dominican Republic, larimar is a rare blue variety of pectolite prized for its turtle-shell patterning, visible in this piece.
